Summer Undergraduate student Research Internship
Introduction:
Center for Advanced Materials (CAM) offers research resources and its state-of-the-art facilities for undergraduate student to participate on research related activities to provide knowledge and practical experiences on development of new or advanced materials and their characterization. CAM is focusing on several research fields and those are aligned with CAM, Qatar University strategy and Qatar industry and society demands such as energy, corrosion, biomedical, nanotechnology and water treatment technology sectors.
The research lab facilities and resources at CAM propose and host a research internship from 24th June to 16th August 2018 period in summer time to enhance the undergraduate students hands-on practice and participation in research environment. These activities are designed to enhance cooperation among centers and faculties at Qatar University and improve contacts of undergraduate student with research activities and centers within Qatar University.
The main goal of these activities is to support undergraduate student internee to:
- Afford hands-on practice on research project
- Gain knowledge about new materials preparation, characterization and applications.
- Develop skills in research informatics and data collection.
- Possibilities participate and contribute in the ongoing research projects at CAM.
- Improve research writing and presentation skill and techniques.
Our professional academics with the assistance of their research associates will train, supervise, and guide the student internee to ensure that the internee acquires the most out of their internship experience by close supervision, guidance, daily meeting and presentations.
- Internship Timing and Duration : June 09th - July 5th, 2019
- Number of Positions: 18
